What the scholarship offers
The headline figure is up to AUD $120,000, but applicants should not read that as an automatic cash payment of exactly $120,000. You prepare a draft budget, and if selected, the participating university works with you to finalize the value of the scholarship. The approved amount depends on the real costs and structure of your proposed program.
The budget may include university course fees, including the fee balance of a Commonwealth-supported place where relevant, or fees for an eligible fee-paying coursework program. It may also include a personal stipend or a top-up to a Research Training Program scholarship for PhD applicants. There are important limits. Tuition or program fees cannot make up more than 80% of the total budget. The international component cannot exceed AUD $50,000. The scholarship also includes a bespoke nine-month leadership and personal development program. Who is eligible
