AGNES Intra-Africa Mobility Grants for Junior Researchers: Up to EUR 3,000
Historical reference: doctoral candidates from sub-Saharan Africa could receive EUR 2,300 to EUR 3,000 for a one- to two-month research stay in another sub-Saharan African country. The 2025 call closed on 30 November 2025, and no 2026 round is published.
AgriScale: Accelerating Agri-tech Manufacturing, Industrial Research

AHRC Design Generators Round Two: A £1 Million Fund Awarding £150,000 to £200,000 per Project for Design-Led Green Transition Research — Applications Close 29 September 2026
The Arts and Humanities Research Council is offering £1 million in total for 9-to-12-month design-led projects that intervene in existing systems to support the green transition, with each award worth £150,000 to £200,000 at 80 percent of full economic cost and a mandatory non-academic co-lead.
Austria FFG BRIDGE Program

BBSRC International Travel Award Scheme for the Biological Sciences: up to £3,000 for one international visit

Belgium VLAIO ICON Grant: Cooperative Research Funding for Flemish Companies and Research Organisations
VLAIO ICON supports demand-driven cooperative research by research organisations and at least three independent companies. Research support can reach 100% of eligible costs, while the business component follows VLAIO research and development support intensities and can receive up to EUR 3,000,000.
BIRD Foundation US Israel Bilateral R&D Grant: Up to $1.5M Non Dilutive Funding, Executive Summaries Due November 23, 2026
The BIRD Foundation covers up to 50 percent of joint US–Israel industrial R&D costs, with a maximum conditional grant of $1.5 million per project and no equity taken. The next Executive Summary deadline is November 23, 2026, with approvals expected March 2027.
British Academy APEX Awards 2027: Up to £200,000 for Established UK Researchers to Pursue Genuinely Interdisciplinary Projects Across the Sciences, Engineering, and Humanities
