Norway Barnetrygd (Child Benefit)
Barnetrygd is Norway's monthly child benefit for children under 18. From 1 February 2026, the ordinary rate is NOK 2,012 per child per month, with additional supplements in defined circumstances.
Norway Folketrygden Healthcare (National Insurance Scheme)
Norway's National Insurance Scheme (Folketrygden) helps eligible residents and workers pay for public healthcare. Adults normally pay approved user fees, public inpatient hospital care is free, and the 2026 exemption-card ceiling is NOK 3,278.

The Villum Foundation's 2026 Villum Investigator call opened on 26 February 2026 and closes at 14:00 on 20 August 2026, allocating DKK 300 million in total and up to DKK 30 million per applicant for a six-year appointment at a Danish university or GEUS, for experienced technical and natural science researchers with at least ten years of excellent track record.
